BACK TO GATES
Commissioned by repeat clients near Ashford in Kent, my design was inspired by and blends my love of Margaret Mackintosh's art nouveau paintings of women and Victorian industrial ironwork. This modern design utilizes traditional joinery methods of riveting and collaring so the construction method is a large part of the aesthetic. The hole in the latch is to accept a padlock.
