BACK TO SCULPTURE

There is quite a special story attached to this sculpture as it was commissioned in secret by my client for her husband's birthday. Approximately 10 years earlier, her husband had commissioned in secret a bear sculpture for her birthday.
The idea to use heavy gauge wire was my idea as I knew the style of sculptures my clients already had, and I felt this would achieve a unique look, comparable to wicker. I worked closely with my client, agreeing the pose together at my workshop, and working to pictures they supplied to ensure important details were properly characterized.
