BACK TO GARDEN IRONWORK
New for Spring 2026 are Fortis and Canor unique garden planters, handmade in the UK by Joel Tarr artist blacksmith.
The Fortis planters fuse my love of mid-century and industrial design, whilst the Canor planters are inspired by my passion for art nouveau. Both are available in medium and large sizes and can be made with or without drainage holes.

As standard, both sets of exterior planters are available in either a natural rust finish, or with an etched zinc treatment to prevent rust. I can also offer a burnished graphite finish (over the top of the zinc) for interior planters, and there is of course always the option of having the planters painted to any colour of your specification.
Each artisanal garden planter is handmade by myself in my workshop near Canterbury in Kent and bespoke enquiries are welcomed. Although these are made to a set pattern, part of the beauty of my planters is that they can also be made to bespoke sizes, so if you wanted two huge ones to stand at the top of your driveway, outside your restaurant or in your hotel lobby, I can simple scale the proportions up.
Prices start at £300, please email for price enquiries.
