BACK TO GARDEN IRONWORK

My spine and rib cage themed bench I made on the Monty Don's Real Craft TV show. Designed to use traditional joinery methods in a modern design this bench features keyed mortise and tenon joints to form the vertebrae and strips of flat bar for the ribs. The bench also dismantled into 3 manageable pieces to make transportation easy. It was never weatherproofed properly and is now ageing gracefully in my parents' garden.
